We know each moment contains a pathway and invitation to eternity.  Our aim is to choose wisely to balance both the “busyness” of today and the focus of our attention on how we can align our lives with the Lord, our true compass. Recently, in my morning quiet time on my back porch, the Holy Spirit zoomed me in to see the minute arteries of nearby leaves and the intricate details of a feather. It is very easy to get too busy and distracted with our many tasks.

Written by Rich Grangard after recently visiting South East Asia with a team from CMM.

Pattaya, Thailand

Our team had a brief stop near Bangkok to minister in a church that has a vision to become a training and sending center for many ministers to go all over Thailand. It seemed almost everything we shared and people we prayed over hit the mark, but perhaps that was just a sign of how hungry the people were! After a word of knowledge about a painful right ankle, one of the guys there raised his hand – after prayer he was completely healed! He testified that he’d had problems with his ankle for one year, and gave thanks to God for His goodness.

We all love children, especially our own. Our Father God created each child as His own supernatural gift of love. The Lord created the family as the best way to ‘train up a child in the way they should go.’ (Prov. 22:6) According to UNICEF (The UN Children’s Emergency Fund) there are one hundred fifty-three million orphans worldwide. If orphans were all in their own nation it would be the ninth largest in the world, bigger than Russia. Wars, violence, AIDS, disease, abandonment (sometimes due to a child being the wrong gender), broken homes and more are all fruit of man’s fallen nature.

“Honor, Discipline, and Loyalty”—these words on a sign in front of a military base north of Quito, Ecuador struck me like a heavenly tuning fork. We went to Mitad de Mundo, the middle of the world, on our way to Mt. Zion to visit a church on the equator at zero latitude. We have much to do, or “undo,” in our own yielding to prepare the Lord’s bride. As we align our lives with the Lord, become one with Him (see John 17), and walk in the authority Jesus has given us, it is good to acknowledge that we have not yet arrived.

2017 was a challenging yet exciting year for Eagle Missions. Thousands were saved and new churches were planted almost weekly, and we continue to share resources from Rick Joyner and MorningStar with hundreds of key leaders in many nations. We are so thankful for our Partners, volunteers, and intercessors who work valiantly to build and strengthen deep relationships in our global community. 2018 is the year for taking even more risks by faith and seeing with His eyes.

Do you feel the winds of change shifting again? We choose to focus on the great hope we have in the Lord and many opportunities to shine in spite of the increasing darkness. There are many efforts from the enemy of our soul that are ‘boomeranging’ back on the sender’s head as he sends his bad winds on many fronts these days. We have to deal with a glut of global mind control, fake news, whacko despots, religious spirits, political correctness etc.

The shaking will intensify. In Hebrews 12:27 we see this “Now this [expression], “Yet once more,” indicates the removal and final transformation of all those things which can be shaken—that is, of that which has been created—so that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.”  The winds are blowing and winds are shifting. Yet, there is one wind we do not want to miss. That wind is the wind of the Holy Spirit.

What are you dreaming of? Imagine riding a horse in Cuba in the 1940’s dreaming of a nation awakening to their true identity of who Jesus is and wants to be for them. As Sidney Correll rode on horseback to the top of a high hill covered in sugar cane overlooking the ocean near Las Palmas, about an hour and a half west of Havana. Sidney had been asking the Lord for the place where he would build his first church and training center anywhere. Just as he looked down at the beautiful blue ocean and the bay the voice of the Lord spoke to him telling him “If you ask the man who owns that land to sell it he will agree.” He rode his horse down the hill on a dirt path to ask the man and he said ‘yes’.

“Watch this!” the Holy Spirit said. That voice always gets my attention. He gave me a vision and showed me massive throngs of people from many nations walking—more like floating—into heaven’s marvelous light.

Then Holy Spirit asked me if I wanted to know how to bring Him joy. I said “yes.” He breathed His warm breath and fire into my face. I received fresh revelation from His Spirit into my spirit. I stood in awe, overwhelmed by this sudden transformational download. He taught me still more about love and gave me new insight when He then said “relational revelation.”

This is that! Hope is being fulfilled and perfected even with all the turmoil, wars, rumors of war, earthquakes, mammoth hurricanes, fake news, and terrorism. We stand in portals of glory and God’s peace knowing all of His promises are yes and amen.

We see the Acts 2:16-18 prophecy unfolding before our eyes. It will only continue to increase:

While in awe of the Lord on our journey to Myanmar, I heard the Holy Spirit say, “You are going where I have sent you. I have prepared this way and the hearts you will know. Just wait until you see what I am doing in this place in my chosen sons for you to witness and be a part of my plans for this nation.” What joy awaits us as we step into the faith realm on these exciting journeys! It is because the mission of the church is “MISSIONS.”

We are called to raise up and equip fruitful leaders for strategic impact in the nations of the earth. How do we find and discern the future leaders the Lord directs us to sow into? Faith entails risk with action. We sow seeds daily and in many lives trusting the Lord by his Holy Spirit to show us his strategies from heaven. While we tend to look for those who have demonstrated lasting fruit in one of the seven mountains of influence in society how many gems might we miss when we look for those that fit into our ‘box’ of preconceived ideas of what makes a leader?

Thus says the Lord God: “When I have gathered the house of Israel from the peoples among whom they are scattered, and am hallowed in them in the sight of the Gentiles, then they will dwell in their own land which I gave to My servant Jacob.

“And they will dwell safely there, build houses, and plant vineyards; yes, they will dwell securely, when I execute judgments on all those around them who despise them. Then they shall know that I am the Lord their God” (Ezekiel 28:25-26).

Israel has been a sign and a wonder for millennia. Sometimes hidden and continually persecuted, the nation is a living testimony of the Lord’s faithfulness, prophetic destiny, the supernatural, and the fulfillment of God’s plans.

The Lord continually amazes us with His desire and love for the nations. Father God is connecting us with powerful nation changers who share remarkable revelation globally. This is such an exciting season of supernatural encounters with the Lord of the harvest. We are seeing a huge increase in the release of fresh holy fire, dreams, and impartation to many worldwide.

Many have asked us how we are able to minister to, oversee, serve, and pray for hundreds of our precious missionaries serving in sixty-eight nations. The best one word answer is—faith. The best two words to answer are—faith and love. It is only by the grace given to us by the Lord that we “get” to do this. It is our passion and our life to be living the greatest adventure.

What is also amazing is that our full-time staff in the Missions Department is predominantly made up of volunteers from the U.S. and seven foreign nations.  Imagine working in your calling by faith with no pay and trusting the Lord every step of the way for your family’s care and provision. Some call us nuts, but we really don’t care. Read more “Nuts, Bolts, Wheels and Gears”

(Scripture references from New King James Version unless otherwise indicated.)

The Lord is moving in remarkable ways through His people all over the world—we need to search out more good news than bad. We are so thankful for the divine connections with dear friends in many nations. We need to strengthen cherished relationships more and more to prepare for what is coming.

Faith and persistent action advance the kingdom and push back the darkness. The bride of Christ is being prepared for her Bridegroom. The Lord’s heartbeat is the sound of the drumbeat, a cadence marching into battle. The breath of the Holy Spirit is the wind that whispers to those with an ear to hear the call and respond by faith.

As I sat down to write this, I prayed and felt a gentle breeze in the Spirit. I then saw an impression of the Lord’s breath blowing over the news headlines. He wasn’t making the news disappear. He wanted me to see what He sees. The Lord is clearly not in heaven wringing His hands.

How do we shield our peace from the bad news and media manipulation? With man’s eyes we see chaos and darkness spreading. With our eyes of faith and His Spirit alive in us, we will see the glory of the Lord shining brighter and brighter upon His people (see Isaiah 60:1).

The highway to heaven we read about in Isaiah 40 started long ago and is still being built. By faith we each can have a part in this generational assignment. This highway is built upon the pillars of truth and righteousness. As we step out in faith and grow in our hunger for the Lord, He always shows up to meet us in the faith realm. While lawlessness, evil, and crises spreading across the earth, we are compelled to pursue God’s ways and truths. As we surrender our lives to the soon coming King, then our glory shines brighter and brighter.

As we see our own nation turning her back on the Lord, we are reminded of Jesus’ own words regarding sheep and goat nations. We are seeing the Dominican Republic awakening to its destiny as a sheep nation. We were asked to meet with the President, and I felt led to ask him to make a righteous stand for the Lord.
