What an amazing time we are in. In these days the Lord is showing us a greater depth of prophecy and an increase in the supernatural around the world. We are in dire straits yet trusting God, aware of how much we depend on the Lord to be with us and lead us by His Holy Spirit.

When we visit our friends working in fifty-eight nations, we are called to walk them into greater intimacy with God and experience the wonders of the Lord in His beauty of holiness. While they often teach us about faith and courage in dire surroundings, we are sent to share real koinonia and encourage them to go higher together. Power evangelism happens when we release the supernatural demonstrations of power of the Lord through our love, sharing the Father’s heart, words, healings, and deliverances.

Reports abound of seeing a growing depth of revelation converge with the prayers of millions of saints going deep into intercession. The Lord is revealing the fulfillment of His heart to an ever-increasing number. It appears that in this season, with darkness and evil increasing dramatically, our Lord is needing us to increase our depth of understanding of His Spirit and His plans so we may be prepared, faith-filled, and ready to follow His marching orders in the coming battles.

Tribulations, genocide, hatred of Israel and its people, along with the greatest persecution of believers in history are all around us. The Lord is strengthening us for the spiritual battles ahead. The trumpet call is loud and clear to awaken us from slumber, to rise and shine for the glory of the Lord is growing stronger in us, His bride.

We are hearing the Spirit of the Lord lead us into deeper revelation of His words, “the joy of the Lord is our strength” (see Nehemiah 8:10), as He unfolds the mysteries of what this great harvest will look like in the coming days. The times before us are those days spoken of over the last few thousand years. Crisis is the threshold to God’s people seizing the opportunity to overcome and give the Lord more glory and honor.

The Laodicean church in the west is being shaken because “everything that can be shaken will be shaken and that which cannot be shaken will remain” (see Hebrews 12:27). We have not seen anything yet. Our peace in the Lord that overcomes the enemy must grow so that nothing surprises us and nothing stops us. The Lord is allowing events to unfold that are way beyond human remedy. We must keep our eyes on Him, not the enemy of our soul.

Our Perception of the Lord

Hebrews 12:2 “looking unto Jesus the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising shame, and hath sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

Our perception of who God is needs to align with who God says we are. In the parable of the talents in Matthew chapter 25, we read about the last steward who perceived the Lord to be a hard taskmaster, so he had fear instead of faith. His doubt and lack of faith cost him his eternal destiny.

“And he also that had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art a hard man, reaping where thou didst not sow, and gathering where thou didst not scatter;
“and I was afraid, and went away and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, thou hast thine own.
“…and at my coming I should have received back mine own with interest. Take ye away therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him that hath the ten talents.
“And cast ye out the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth. But when the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the angels with him, then shall he sit on the throne of his glory” (Matthew 25:24-28, 30).
Our faith is being tested moment by moment. We must choose the path of faith, stepping out of our comfort zones with boldness and courage. The time has come. Truth begets truth, and faith begets faith. The Lord will give us more, if He can trust us first in the small things.
How we see the Lord can make or break us and determine if we will be found faithful. Let us examine ourselves to see that we have a firm foundation in our perception of how we see the Lord of hosts. Ask the Holy Spirit to show you areas where your ideas are shaped by the world or by the Spirit of the Lord, “Christ in us, the hope of glory” (see Colossians 1:27).

The Great Apostasy is Unfolding

There will be many who fall away. In fact, many already have. Some fall from the spread of political correctness, others from growing weary in well doing. Others fall from crises, financial ruin, or allowing offense to take root in their lives. We must keep our eyes on Jesus, not the enemy. We are called to hold our focus straight in the ways of the Lord.
In James we see “that a double minded man achieves nothing” (see James 1:8). Whose report will we believe? The curse of an ideology leads to destruction, whether it be Islam, Chrislam, New Age, or the watering down of the gospel as in II Timothy 3:5 “holding a form of godliness, but having denied the power therefore, from these also turn away.” Effective evangelism and discipleship must be rooted in releasing the supernatural. We must know why we believe what we believe. We must demonstrate in power of the resurrection strength we have in the Lord Jesus. We must have the depth and boldness to defend our faith and demonstrate the supernatural.

Faith Delivers Us From Fear

It is time to be delivered from every fear except the holy fear of the Lord. In Revelation 21:8 we read, “But for the fearful, and unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, and fornicators, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, their part shall be in the lake that burneth with fire and brimstone; which is the second death.” In Hebrews 11:6 we are told that “Without faith it is impossible to please Him” (NASB).

Past and Future Crashes and The Coming Transfer of Wealth

Millions suffered, many innocently, through the recent financial crises, downturns, and inflation. Loss of equity in homes, bankruptcy of businesses, being laid off from jobs, loss of retirement, and Wall Street drops have caused many to lose their hard-earned savings and investments.

There is an epidemic of corporate greed and governmental ineptitude. False foundations in our financial systems “stole” billions from hard-working Americans. The “bubble” in Wall Street and real estate that led up to the crash in 2008 seems to have taught us very little. Another “bubble” is well on its way, currently leading us down a dangerous path once more. Our freedoms, government, and currency are all facing severe threats. Many prophetic words speak of a financial collapse. Risks of pandemic plagues are close at hand. Just as Rick Joyner and Bob Jones prayed against the bird flu a few years ago and saw it stop overnight, so too we must now exercise our authority in declaring a cease and desist order against these plagues engulfing the nations and threatening everyone in rapid fire.

Now we are facing “plagues for profit” made by the hands of men to infect the masses. As scandals and greed devour the fruits of the labor of many across the globe, we must use our apostolic authority to declare an end to this madness.

The Lord is allowing this “big squeeze” to happen to get our attention and full focus on Him as our source. We need to trust the Father completely. It also behooves us to prepare for the times ahead by reducing and eliminating debt. The great transfer of wealth will happen when the Lord can trust His people to be wise stewards. We are not there yet. We will need to discover what this “fullness of joy” really is before that transfer will occur.
If the Lord can trust us in the small things, He will trust with greater things in the kingdom.

In Luke 12:48 we read, “And to whomsoever much is given, of him shall much be required: and to whom they commit much, of him will they ask the more.”

Our American Constitution is threatened as our Christian roots and heritage are being weakened and ignored. The crises before us are beyond human remedy. Only the Lord can save us.

We are exhorted in Romans 14:23 “anything not done in faith is sin.” When we are fearful or driven by the news media to run and hide from obedience, we are in sin. God’s grace and mercy are there to get our attention. Rick Joyner says, “The courage it took to create this nation is the courage it will take to save this nation.”

The Joy of New Wine

Our hunger invites the presence of the Lord. As we align our lives in surrender to the Lord, we will know His voice and long to hear His heartbeat. Obedience leads to greater trust. Faithfulness, koinonia, and spending time being (not doing) with Him will become more crucial for each of us. The signs of our desperate need of God to save us, our families, and our nation are all around us. This is our time to awaken to the new day of the Lord. Let us bring heaven more and more into every area of our lives, with those we encounter at home and in every nation we visit.

“Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of Jehovah is risen upon thee.
“For, behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the peoples; but Jehovah will arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee” (Isaiah 60:1-2).
As we uncover more of our real joy in the Lord and all that means for us, we will become more consumed with the fire of the Lord. Rick Joyner said last year that when Enoch walked with God for 300 years and then was not, as God took him up, he became the happiest man ever. The Lord invites us to walk with Him and be with Him so that we may be transformed fully into His image. May our joy grow and grow as we give ourselves fully to being with God. We will learn how to love.

Isaiah 55:1 encourages us with “Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.”

Resurrection Life

We have an invitation to experience life in ways we never dreamed, thought, or imagined as we surrender our plans to the ways of the Lord. Father knows best. Jesus, as author and finisher of our faith, saw the joy before Him and endured the cross for us, knowing the eternity of joy Father God prepared for Him and us. We must keep this eternal joy before us day and night, here and now, so we may endure what is coming and prosper through the times of darkness. This joy unspeakable will help us stand (see Psalm 91).

As Stephen was stoned, his face shone with the glory of God. We hear of many being martyred these days in many nations. We remember how Jesus said, as He hung on the cross, “Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do” (see Luke 23:34). While these atrocities and barbaric deaths are agonizing, we need to pray for protection for those endangered and trust the Lord even more. We know the blood of the martyrs is the seed of the church.

It hurts so much when we hear from our friends in other nations that someone they know personally has been tortured and slaughtered. I have known a few of these martyrs myself, and my heart weeps when I hear of it. Yet the peace of God is what overcomes the enemy. The Lord is preparing us for more glory as the army of the Lord marches forward with a fresh boldness, loving the unlovable and sharing how much Jesus loves them. We must not be deterred nor give up the fight. Our joy in Jesus, who made a way for us to be His own, is so amazing and indescribable that it will be worth it all, even unto death.

Death Has Lost Its Sting

Once the Lord allowed me to experience death for real. My bodily fluids left my body, and it was a mess. I saw Jesus standing beyond my grave and raising me up. He spoke to me,

“I wanted you to experience this so you would not fear death. I wanted you to see Me beyond the grave so that you may know the resurrection power of who I am. When you raise others from the dead, you now will know what it feels like.”

The power of the resurrection and supernatural joy are ours to receive, as we learn to believe the way the Lord made us to believe. The work of the Father is to believe. May our joy be made full.
