Mission Statement: The ministry of Shiloh House is to help Christians attain transformational intimacy with the Christ within them through discipleship training and healing prayer that removes hidden obstacles and hindrances to their spiritual walk caused by hidden emotional wounds, fear, anxiety, anger, and unforgiveness. By means of allowing God, not man, to search the heart as King David prayed “search us Lord for anxious thoughts and hurtful ways, and expose the hidden errors in our lives we can’t discern on our own”…”cleanse me from secret faults that they may not rule over me…” (Ps. 19:12, 139:23-24). Teaching how to allow the Lord to expose the roots and bring deliverance from negative emotions, tormenting thoughts and endless cycles of wrong choices that will “rule” if not dealt with. Subconsciously hindering intimate relationship with the Lord, and healthy relationships with others. These are often the root cause of depression, feelings of rejection, inferiority, not belonging or fitting in, loneliness or even physical illness and disease…The purpose is to show how to attain and maintain total freedom in the Spirit to fulfill the Lord’s purposes for your life having your heart and mind “guarded by the peace of God”. So that “His love may be perfected in us….as He is so are we in this world.” (1 John 4:17).
“Emotions the gateway to knowing God”…. (Jonathan Edwards In “Concerning Religious Affections”), where he stated that “conversion is undeniably…emotional…
.”Above all else, guard your heart, (spiritual and emotional center) for everything you do flows from it”. Prov. 4:23. “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind” (The Greek word for “mind” encompasses thoughts, will, and emotions…not just intellect). The Lord has provided everything you need to be free from life controlling problems and self-sabotaging, destructive behaviors. Like King David we must allow the Lord to “search us for anxious thoughts and hurtful ways, and expose the hidden errors in our lives we can’t discern on our own”… (Ps. 19:12, 139:23-24). Where the Spirit of the Lord is there is Freedom.
