Entering 2026 with Faith: God’s Mercies Are New Every Morning

Dear CMM Ordained Warriors of our Lord,

As we step into January 2026, it’s natural to talk about “a new year”—new goals, new plans, new energy, new promises. There is nothing wrong with celebrating the turning of the calendar.

But I want to lift our eyes higher than the date on the page.

While it is meaningful to gather with friends and family, to sense the shared excitement of a new season, and to enjoy fellowship and celebration together, we are also called to remember something far deeper: our prophetic assignments were written in Yahweh’s book before the world began.

The Kingdom does not run on January 1st. Heaven does not need a reset button. God does not wait for a new year to release a new beginning—because His mercies are new every morning.

“Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.”
(Lamentations 3:22–23)

Kingdom perspective for 2026

That means today is holy ground.

  • Not because life is easy.
  • Not because the world is stable.
  • Not because everything is clear.

Today is holy ground because God is present, and His faithfulness is already assigned to this moment.

Some of you are entering this year with joy and momentum. Others are stepping into it carrying uncertainty—questions about health, finances, family, ministry direction, and the future. And if we’re honest, darkness is spreading in many places. The noise is louder. The pressure is real. Systems are shaking. Fear is looking for a foothold.

But here is the truth that anchors us: darkness never gets the final word. Jesus does.

“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”
(John 1:5)

We are not called to be analysts of the darkness. We are called to be carriers of the Light. The answer is not panic. The answer is presence—His presence in us and flowing through us. Not striving; Not anxious planning; Not living ten steps ahead of grace.

Jesus did not say, “Tomorrow will have enough strength.” He said:

“Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
(Matthew 6:34)

This is not permission for laziness; it is an invitation to trust. It is a call to live within the portion of grace God has already provided for today.

When you live fully in today with God, something powerful happens: you stop trying to manufacture outcomes, and you begin walking in peace.

“You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD GOD is an everlasting rock.”
(Isaiah 26:3–4)

Peace is not denial; Peace is not pretending; Peace is the evidence that your soul has found its center again—in Christ.

So yes, we celebrate the New Year. We thank God for bringing us through; We honor what He has done; We acknowledge what was hard. And we move forward with wisdom.

Above all, we commit to a daily posture:

  • “Lord, give us today our daily bread.” (Matthew 6:11)
  • “Lord, teach us to number our days.” (Psalm 90:12)
  • “Lord, establish our steps.”
“In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” (Proverbs 3:5–6)

We also choose to remain thankful always—because thanksgiving is spiritual warfare, and praise builds a throne.

“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”
(1 Thessalonians 5:16–18)

Beloved, do not let uncertainty steal your obedience. Do not let darkness steal your worship. Do not let delay steal your hope. God is not nervous about 2026. He is not distracted; He is not late; He is not weak; He is the Ancient of Days, and He still reigns.

And you—yes, you—are part of His answer in the earth. You carry His Spirit; You carry His love; You carry His authority; You carry His Light.

So today, lift your head. Breathe. Return to peace. Take the next faithful step.

His mercy is already waiting for you in the morning.

With love, faith, and gratitude,
