The CMM College of Theology 60 Credit-Hour Strong Foundations Certificate is a structured, Christ-centered course of study. Every course is grounded in Scripture — the living Word of God — and is designed to move each student from believing, to becoming, to serving.

Each term builds on the one before — 20 courses of 3 credit hours each, with a book report woven through every course and a capstone practicum and written discipleship plan in the final term.

Strong Foundations is for every born-again believer who is ready to go deeper — including:

Prerequisites: a born-again experience and proficiency in English (if you are not proficient in English, there may be an additional class and a small fee).

A First Step Toward a Degree
Upon completion, students may be able to combine this certificate with related life experience to earn credit toward an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree. The Strong Foundations Certificate is accredited by AAHEA.

A Generation Ready for the Gospel
The research shows both an urgent need and a wide-open door. Pew Research Center’s 2023–24 Religious Landscape Study found that only 46% of adults ages 18 to 24 identify as Christian, compared with 80% of adults age 74 and older.1 At the same time, Barna Group reports that Gen Z and Millennials are leading a rise in personal commitment to Jesus, and Gen Z men show a 15-point increase since 2019.2 Young adults are searching, and many have never heard the Gospel clearly or been discipled in God’s Word. “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few” (Matthew 9:37, NKJV). Strong Foundations was built for this moment. It roots young believers in Scripture so they can stand firm and reach their own generation.
