Dr. David Bates,
Associate Missions Director

David Bates is the Associate Missions Director for Christ’s Mandate for Missions (“CMM”), coordinating and leading mission outreach trips domestically and internationally.  David has a passion for reaching the lost and strengthening the church.  Early in his walk with the Lord, he was called to the Isaiah 58 and 61 passion to be a repairer of the breach and to raise the generations to pursue Jesus. 

David has been a leader in the church since 1992, serving in a number of capacities including youth pastor, teacher, evangelist, senior pastor, missions director, elder and prophetic captain.  He is the founder of Trumpet Call International Ministries (“TCIM”).  TCIM is a parachurch organization focused on equipping the body of Christ to fulfill the great commission. TCIM conducts short term mission trips, trains believers through onsite and offsite methods throughout the year, and strategically invests in key leaders in the Eastern U.S. and in the international community. David has led evangelistic mission teams since 2006, equipping churches and leaders in Central America.  His teams move in teaching, evangelism, and supernatural gifts. 

In addition to TCIM, David currently serves in leadership positions for an international prophetic network and a regional prophetic network in the Eastern United States. He recently started the CMM online Prophetic School.  He has also published “The Principles of Prophecy” book in English and Spanish as well as published several articles.  He has trained hundreds in operating in prophetic ministry and prophesied to thousands.

David recently retired as a financial bank regulator for the U.S. banking system, serving in that capacity for 28 years. He held a number of leadership roles in this profession including Director of Commercial Credit Policy, Commercial Credit Team Leader for Large Banks, and Commercial Credit Team Instructor for Large Banks.

His passion is to promote the presence of the Lord and equip the body of Christ in all the giftings and spiritual blessings made available to us in Christ.  David and his wife Michelle are blessed with four beautiful girls and currently resides in Indian Land, SC.
