Dear Messenger of Fire!  

Revival is here – how can you participate?

1 John 3:2b (KJV)… but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as he is.

This is a motivating promise that speaks of transformation. We shall become like Him when He appears. This scripture is usually used when talking about the ultimate transformation…when Jesus returns for His bride in the second coming. However, this principle can be applied in other ways.

There is a growing hunger in the world around us for the authenticity of Jesus to be manifested.  The younger generations want something tangible and real to help them transition from the world and its systems.  But the younger generation isn’t willing to take your word for it. Too many voices say one thing but do another. They are looking for a demonstration of truth and love not just another story or talking point that no one follows.

The promise is 1 John 3:2b is something you and I can participate in.  Living and acting like Jesus releases a testimony, power, and hope to those around us. 1 John 3:2b shows us that when we are like Him, others are encouraged to be like Him

Here are some suggested strategies to help you become part of Jesus’ manifestation and release this transformative power to those searching for something real and tangible.

  • Jesus focused on the 12 disciples, pouring into them deeply. We should adopt this intentional, relational model of mentorship.
  • Who are the next-generation leaders God is calling you to invest in? Leaders must raise up spiritual sons and daughters who can carry the mantle forward.
  • We must foster close, family-like relationships and not rely on large gatherings for discipleship.
  • Generational gaps must be bridged. Older leaders must guide younger ones while also learning from the fresh faith and perspectives of younger believers.
  • Could you engage more bystart listening more? Evangelism begins with this simple action.
  • Learn to ask good questions.
  • Speak God’s message into their struggles.
  • Invite the younger generation into your small community group?
  • Ask them to join you in some meaningful ministry practice. This will give them an opportunity to realize how they can be part of God’s rising army.
  • Could you initiate the contact? Don’t wait for someone to reach out to you. 
  • Trust the Lord to give you the right words and actions in the moment you need it. 

There is a reason why the increase of demonic activity has been released against the youth of our day. We must intentionally fight for this generation through the grace and truth of Jesus and demonstrate Him to win this generation for the Lord.

And by the grace of God, we shall return a reward to our Lamb who is worthy!
