Wave After Wave — The Harvest Is Rising

Grace and peace to you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

“And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.” — Galatians 6:9 (NKJV)

Beloved ministers, family, and fellow laborers across the nations, I write to you this month with a full heart, because I have just seen with my own eyes what I have been sensing in the Spirit — the harvest is rising.

Wave After Wave in Rumford, Maine

Under an outdoor tent in Rumford, Maine, we gathered for Wave after Wave, a revival hosted by our dear friends Ed and Cynthia Bulger, leaders of the Lion of the Tribe of Judah. Many of you were there — CMM ordained ministers, students, and graduates from across New England, shoulder to shoulder under open sky, hungry for God. And He came. Wave after wave, just as the name declared. What a testimony that the fire is not fading in these days — it is spreading. To Ed and Cynthia, and to every one of you who came and carried the presence of the Lord into that place, thank you. You reminded me again why we labor.

What Endurance Produces

Family, this is what endurance produces. Endurance is not the absence of exhaustion — it is faithfulness that outlasts it. The farmer who reaps is not the one who felt strongest at planting; he is the one still standing at harvest. And I sense the harvest season pressing in on the very places where the labor has felt the longest. What looks like silence is often the seed underground, doing the hidden work no eye can see. God has not forgotten your obedience.

“For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name.” — Hebrews 6:10 (NKJV)

To the discouraged: lift your head. Elijah heard the sound of abundance of rain before there was a cloud in the sky. Prophetic ears hear the future before natural eyes see it. Begin to listen again.

To the faithful: keep sowing. Heaven is not looking for the loudest — it is looking for the last ones standing.

Below are some photos from the Maine weekend. There are many highlights, but one super bright sign of hope for the younger generation is there were many young people who were baptized in water. Two young boys shared testimonies how both had lost their mothers, one at birth and one just two weeks ago.

A New Season at CMM College of Theology

Wave after wave is rising in our classrooms too. I am thrilled to tell you that we are beginning our new school year with the largest faculty in our history — a testimony to what God is building among us. Two things I especially want you to know about:

• Our course Strong Foundations has now been translated into ten languages, so that leaders across the nations can be grounded in the Word in their own tongue. What began in one language is now crossing borders, wave after wave.
• We are launching a new Doctor of Global Leadership program, with world-class leaders serving as guest teachers — men and women of God pouring decades of wisdom into the next generation of leaders being raised up across the earth.

Three Things I Ask of You This Month

Do not lose heart. Whatever you have been tempted to lay down — the ministry, the field, the calling — do not put it down before the due season.

Stay in the Word and in prayer.  Holy Spirit is the best teacher! Anointing leaks. Refill daily. You cannot pour from an empty vessel.

Reach out to us. You are not alone in this labor. Reply to this letter — tell us how to pray, and tell us what God is doing where you are.

A Prayer Over You

Father, in the name of Jesus, strengthen every hand that hangs down and every weary knee. Send wave after wave of Your Spirit across the nations where these faithful ministers stand. Renew the vision of the weary, and let this be a season of reaping. Pour out fresh fire, guard their families, and use this new school year to raise up leaders for Your glory. We will not lose heart, for the harvest is Yours. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
