Karteek is a young Christian boy in need in India. He lives at a Christian orphanage called Our Father’s Home. He loves sports, especially soccer, and he works hard in school. Karteek recently chose to follow Christ, and he hopes to serve the Lord with his life. Like many children supported by a Christian nonprofit helping orphans in India, he depends on the care and generosity of others.
A Life-Threatening Infection and Emergency Surgery
Not long ago, a small wound developed into a severe staph infection. The illness spread quickly and threatened both his arm and his life. The orphanage leaders prayed and chose to admit him to the local hospital. Doctors treated him for 25 days and performed surgery to stop the infection. Their quick action saved his life.
Hope and Recovery
By God’s grace, Karteek recovered and returned to Our Father’s Home. In many parts of India, hospitals keep patients until bills are paid, yet he received permission to leave. He now rests with the children and caregivers who supported him through prayer. A deep scar remains on his arm, but it also tells a story of healing and faith.
