Rescue from Human Trafficking: Hope and Restoration for 26 Brave Young Women

A Rescue from Human Trafficking That Changed Lives Forever
Several years ago, twenty-six young women were rescued from lives of exploitation, abuse, and hopelessness. For many, their journey began in childhood. Some had been sold into systems of exploitation by family members. Others had been abandoned and left vulnerable on the streets. The youngest were only six years old when they lost the safety and innocence every child deserves.
Their stories are heartbreaking, but they are also stories of hope.
This rescue from human trafficking gave these young women a second chance at life. Through the efforts of dedicated Christian workers and local believers, they were brought to safety, introduced to the love of Jesus Christ, and given an opportunity to begin rebuilding their lives.
Today, these human trafficking survivors are learning that their past does not have to define their future.
Healing and Hope for Human Trafficking Survivors
For the past several years, the women have lived in a protected environment where they could begin the long process of healing. Many remained at risk from those who had previously controlled them, while others faced pressure from family members who viewed their escape as a betrayal of tradition.
Life after rescue has not been easy. The women, now ranging in age from fifteen to twenty-nine, have endured periods of severe hardship. Many slept on hard floors without mattresses. Simple necessities such as adequate clothing, personal care items, and consistent meals were often difficult to obtain.
Yet these human trafficking survivors have demonstrated remarkable resilience. Their faith in Christ has given them hope, purpose, and the determination to move forward despite overwhelming obstacles.
From Survivors to Leaders

The transformation taking place in these young women is inspiring.
Last year, six of them traveled hundreds of kilometers to share their testimonies and the Gospel. Their message of hope touched hundreds of lives, and many people responded to the love of Christ. Several of the women discovered a calling to evangelism and ministry.
Others have focused on practical skills that will help them achieve long-term independence. Sixteen are currently receiving professional sewing and tailoring training, while others hope to pursue culinary and vocational education.
Their goal is not merely survival. They want the dignity that comes with self-sufficiency, meaningful work, and the ability to help others who face circumstances similar to their own.
A Crisis That Threatened Everything
Just when stability seemed within reach, a leadership crisis disrupted the ministry responsible for caring for these women.
The resulting turmoil placed the entire program at risk. Financial support was interrupted, the ministry base became unstable, and the women once again faced uncertainty about their future.
For a brief time, the possibility of losing their safe home became very real.
After everything they had endured, these human trafficking survivors were at risk of facing another devastating setback.
A New Beginning
Faithful believers stepped forward during this critical moment and ensured that the women would not become victims once again.

A new secure home was found and prepared. For security reasons, its location cannot be disclosed publicly, but it provides a safe and stable environment where the women can continue their healing journey.

The move was completed successfully. The new home includes adequate living space, bathrooms, a private water source, and a secure garden area. Thirteen king-size mattresses have already been purchased, providing many of the women with comforts they have rarely experienced.
Most importantly, hope has been renewed.
The women are safe.
Their discipleship continues.
Their future remains bright.
The Ongoing Need
While the immediate crisis has been resolved, the need for ongoing support remains.
The monthly cost of operating the home—including rent, utilities, food, transportation, and basic necessities—is approximately $2,500 USD per month. Vocational training, discipleship programs, and outreach activities require additional resources.
These women are determined to build sustainable futures. They are actively pursuing education and job skills that will allow them to support themselves and become leaders within their communities.
However, they cannot accomplish this journey alone.
How You Can Help Human Trafficking Survivors

We invite you to prayerfully consider becoming a partner in this life-changing ministry.
Your support does far more than provide food and shelter. It helps human trafficking survivors receive discipleship, vocational training, emotional support, and opportunities to build independent lives filled with dignity and purpose.
- $100 per month helps support one young woman
- $2,500 per month covers the basic operating expenses for the entire home
Every gift helps provide safety, stability, and hope.
A rescue from human trafficking is only the beginning of the journey. True restoration takes time, care, discipleship, and the support of compassionate people who are willing to stand alongside survivors as they rebuild their lives.
These young women have already demonstrated extraordinary courage and faith. Their stories are testimonies of God’s grace and redemption.
They have been snatched from the fire.
Together, we can help ensure that their future is defined not by exploitation, but by freedom, hope, and purpose.
